Here's the deal...

I'm Becca, a 26-year old therapist, cat owner, big sister, and book lover.  I love working out despite my affinity for clumsiness, enjoy a McDonalds double cheeseburger as much as I do the complicated recipes I try at home, and spend about every day in a love-hate relationship with my Type A personality.

I'm trying to figure out the whole being an adult thing so I can balance work/friends/love/health/money/adventure/and also did I mention money?

The end of 2017 prompted some major overhauls: tidying my life (literally and figuratively), addressing debt and money so my sleep will not always be interrupted by gut-wrenching fear about not being able to pay bills, bringing more intention into my time and my relationships, just to name a few.  This is not easy.  Already by March a dozen different strategies in every area have been scrapped, retried, and scrapped again.

These strategies and these thoughts are what I want to share.  I'm not alone in my struggles, that I know, and I hope that some of my failures and successes will serve as encouragement, inspiration and guidance to others in similar situations.  More importantly, I hope to hear from others on how to survive millennial life: the seemingly never-ending quest to reach that ultimate quality of life... but without the guilt and constant comparison.

Here's to 2018, millennials, and anyone else who may be wondering and wandering with us.
